My journey as a Graphic & Social
Designer

My views as a designer have been heavily influenced by my educational journey. The journey began in secondary school, continued through my bachelors and went all the way to the completion of my masters degree. At each moment I was exposed to different ways of thinking of which I continue to use in my work today.

In secondary school I completed the International Baccalaureate, which taught me critical thinking, to be open-minded and to reflect on my work. During my bachelors course at the University of Westminster in Graphic Communication Design I learnt design principles and the importance in paying attention to detail. Finally, during my MA course in Social Design I understood that design should have a purpose and that the most effective designs are human-centred.

I particularly find that my time studying Social Design at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti has had the largest impact on me as a designer. In the two years I spent there I was able to participate in a variety of projects with each having a different outcome from the last.
